Description

Here is an Egypt 1938 Gold 100 Piastres Farouk in BU condition. Designed by Percy Metcalfe, this brilliant uncirculated coin commemorates the royal wedding and contains .2391 ounce of Gold. The coin has bright golden surfaces, good details, and a bright original mint luster.

From a low mintage of 5,000, the obverse features a uniformed left facing bust of King Farouk. The reverse has the dates within a circle, with the denomination above, and surrounded by decorative vines.
