Description

Here is a France 1811A Gold Napoleon 40 Francs coin in VF condition. This Very Fine coin was minted in Lille and contains .3734 ounces of Gold. This 40 FR Napoleon has bright golden surfaces and nice details. There are a couple nicks on edge as seen in the photos.

The obverse features Napoleon wearing a crown of laurel facing left. The reverse displays the denomination encircled within a wreath and the legend "EMPIRE FRANCAIS.".
