This 1881-A 100 Francs French Angel is ungraded, in XF-AU condition. This Angel is in fantastic condition. The fields are quite smooth and the details are sharply defined. The surfaces are proof like and lustrous. This Gold Angel 100 Fr coin has great eye-appeal and is perfect for European Gold coin collectors or investors.

Minted in Paris, this French Gold Angel contains just over 1 ounce of .900 Gold and features the Standing Genius writing the constitution with a rooster on the right and column on the left with the phrase REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE on the obverse (front). The reverse design features a circular wreath with the date and denomination and the phrase LIBERTE EGALITE FRATERNITE. The lettering on the edge is DIEU PROTÉGÉ LA FRANCE.
