Description

Presenting a Guatemala 1965 Gold Tecun Uman 1/4 oz Medal in BU condition. This medal commemorates the national heroes of Guatemala and contains .25 ounces of Gold. From a low mintage of 10,000, this medal has smooth fields and crisp devices. The surfaces shine with a bright original mint luster.

The obverse features a left facing bust of Tecun Uman, Mayan ruler of the early 16th Century, wearing an ornate headdress. The reverse features the national coat of arms of Guatemala with the date below.
