Description

Here is an Iceland 1974 Gold 10000 Kronur in BU condition. Designed by Throstur Magnusson, this Brilliant Uncirculated coin contains .4485 oz AGW and commemorates the 1100th Anniversary of the 1st settlement. The devices are sharply struck and the fields are smooth. The original mint luster gleams off of gorgeous golden surfaces.

The obverse features Ingulfur Arnason getting ready to throw his home posts on the beach. The reverse features a quartered design of an eagle, dragon, bull, and giant. This is in the World Coins book as KM #22.
