A Strong Silver Price Increase Helps Gold Reach A High

Lead by a very strong Silver price increase, Gold reached a high this morning of $1,876 per ounce, before seeing profit-taking and weekend selling. Gold did show excellent support above the key $1,850 level on excellent demand. At 11 am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,851 per ounce, up $9 on good volume.

SILVER

Silver reached a high of $27.71 on heavy demand in volatile early trading. Some traders are trying to put a short squeeze on professional commodity traders, but aren’t doing well. At 11 am PT today, Silver is up $0.99 per ounce, closing at $27 on excellent trading volume.
