Both Gold & Silver Are Holding Above Key Support Levels
GOLD
Gold traded today between $2,898 and $2,931 per ounce, and most of the time, Gold was firmly over $2,900. Gold briefly reached highs on today’s February Jobs statistics before seeing light weekend selling.
U.S. nonfarm payrolls rose by 151,000 in February, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on Friday. This figure slightly missed consensus forecasts, as economists had anticipated job gains of around 159,000.
At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $2,907 per ounce, down $6 on average volume.
SILVER
Silver tested its $32 resistance level this morning when Gold was trading under $2,900. Silver reached a low this morning of $32.06 before finding bargain buyers and quickly rallied $0.50 per ounce.
At 11am PT today, Silver is down $0.25 per ounce at $32.40 on normal volume.
