Equity Markets Hopeful Trade War Will Settle Quickly

GOLD

The equity markets rallied today on hopes that the trade war issue with China would be settled quickly. Gold, after reaching a high of $1,301 yesterday saw some light selling, taking the price down to $1,293 before buyers got active. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,296 per ounce, down $4 per ounce on average volume.

SILVER

Silver traded today in a very narrow range from $14.71 to $14.77 per ounce. Since Silver didn’t rally yesterday, on the trade war fears, it would be expected that easing of those concerns wouldn’t have much of an effect on the price. At 11am PT today, Silver is unchanged at $14.77 per ounce.
