Gold moved down to $1,954 in early European trading before seeing sizeable bargain buying. Traders are watching the U.S. Dollar, interest rates, and any negotiation on the debt ceiling for price direction. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,975 per ounce, unchanged from yesterday on normal volume.
SILVER
Silver tested the $23 support level when Gold was at its low last night. Silver is still showing excellent demand at attractive price levels. At 11am PT today, Silver is down $0.20 per ounce, trading at $23.50 on average volume.
