Gold and Silver Moving Higher Past U.S. Dollar
GOLD
The U.S. Dollar and U.S. Interest continue to move lower and Gold/Silver are moving higher. Gold reached a high of $1,676 before seeing some light short-term profit taking. Building a firm base above $1,650 could mean seeing $1,700 in early November. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,666 per ounce, up $11 on average volume.
SILVER
Silver followed Gold higher, reaching a high of $19.85 on excellent volume. Demand and premiums on many popular Silver investment coins and bars is causing shortages or delivery delays by major market makers. At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.15 per ounce, trading at $19.55 on normal volume.
