Gold And Silver Prices Climb Higher

Gold and Silver prices are up moderately today, gaining some support from futures traders this morning. This week is set to be a big week for economists and investors as several U.S. economic reports are set to be released, including the employment situation report expected on Friday. Economists expect to see a rise in activity in the marketplace following this upcoming holiday weekend.

At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $ 1920.68 per ounce, up $8.19.

SILVER

Silver prices are up slightly today following the precious metal’s strong week last week where we saw Silver prices climb over 6% following the down slope precious metals had been experiencing for several weeks prior.

At 11am PT today, Silver is trading at $24.24 per ounce, up $0.02 from Friday.
