Gold and Silver See Increase in Demand Ahead of Fed Meeting
GOLD
The U.S. Dollar Index is holding around 105 and 10-Year Treasury bills interest rate continue to move lower ahead of next weeks Fed Meeting. Gold found fresh buying this morning on some positive inflation news. Gold reached a high of $1,790 before seeing some light selling. At 11am PT today, Gold is up $18 per ounce, trading at $1,788 on average volume.
SILVER
Silver helped led Gold higher this morning, reaching a high of $22.92 on excellent trading volume. With premiums on many of the popular Silver investment coins and bars, the demand is picking up. At 11am PT today, Silver is trading at $22.75 per ounce, up $0.62 on excellent volume.
