Gold Building Firm Base Above The $2,500 Level

Gold stayed above $2,500 in today’s early overseas trading and moved higher in late European trading. Gold reached $2,519 per ounce as it rolled into U.S. trading and dropped $5. Staying above $2,500 per ounce is a key base-building factor for the next move higher.
At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $2,513 per ounce, up $10 on good volume.

SILVER

Silver stayed above $28 per ounce and reached a high of $28.60 before seeing short-term profit-taking. Silver spent most of today’s trading in the $28.30 to $28.40 range as Gold moved higher.
At 11am PT today, Silver is unchanged, trading at $28.35 per ounce on average volume.
