Gold traded today between $2,889 and $2,927 per ounce, and most of the time Gold was firmly over $2,900. Its important that Gold builds a firm base above $2,900 to provide the support needed to move to the $3,000 level.

Silver is trying to build a firm base at the key $32 per ounce level today. Silver reached a low of $32.20 in early trading and quickly moved higher.
