Gold opened this morning at $1,419 per ounce, unchanged from last week. For most of the day Gold traded between $1,414 to $1,423 per ounce as it continues to build a base for the next breakout. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,422 per ounce, up $4 on average volume.
SILVER
Silver continues to consolidate its recent gains, staying between $16.30 to $16.42 per ounce. This week’s Federal Reserve announcement about a reduction in interest rates should be bullish for Silver and Gold. At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.06 per ounce, trading at $16.41 on normal volume.
