Gold Hits Another All-Time High
GOLD
Gold hit a new all-time high this morning in Asian trading, reaching $3045 per ounce before settling back down $20 in European trading. As it’s come into the U.S. the price has edged back up, now trading comfortably above $3,030. This rally is due in a large part to the end of the ceasefire Gaza as well as uncertainty surrounding Trump Administration policies and their global impact, reflecting Gold’s long-standing status as a strong safe-haven asset.
At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $3,036, up $3 today.
SILVER
Silver Prices are down from this year’s peak of $34.23, seeing some consolidation above the $33.44 support level established on Monday. With Gold still rising off of geopolitical unrest, I expect to see Silver continue to rise with Gold after this consolidation period.
At 11am PT today, Silver is trading at $33.66, down $0.42 from yesterday.
