Gold Hits New High As Silver Also Continues to Climb

Gold tested its $1,750 per ounce support level yesterday and today we are off and running. Gold opened higher in Asia this morning and kept on going in Europe and the U.S., hitting a high of $1,794. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,790 per ounce, up $30 on excellent volume.

SILVER

Silver spent most of the morning’s trading under and over the important $20 level. As the Gold price moved above $1,780 the Silver price firmed up and fresh buying appeared. At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.20 per ounce, trading at $20.20 on good volume.
