Gold Holding In A Tight Trading Range Awaiting Iran News

Today, the U.S. retail sales increased 4.9% from April 2025, as reported by the U.S. Commerce Department. This was expected, so it didn’t affect Gold trading. For most of this week, Gold has traded in the $4,700 area.
At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $4,682 per ounce, down $8 on average volume.
SILVER
Silver looked good in overseas trading last night, but saw selling in the U.S. market this morning, driving the price down to $83.74 before finding bargain buyers.
At 11am PT today, Silver is down $3.10 per ounce, trading at $84.90 on normal volume.
