Gold has traded today between $1,856 and $1,879 as it awaits news from the Federal Reserve on an increase in interest rates and balance sheet status. Trading volume and demand is showing increases around the world’s leading commodity trading exchanges. At 11am today, Gold is up $2 per ounce, trading at $1,872 on strong volume.

Silver reached a low of $22.40 this morning before seeing bargain buying, which helped with a $0.25 increase. At 11am PT today, Silver is trading at $22.65, down $0.06 on normal volume.
