Gold Is Building A Firm Base To Break $1,800

GOLD

Gold traded last night and this morning between $1,775 and $1,793 per ounce. Gold is building a firm base for the next attempt to break the key $1,800 per ounce resistance level. A strong U.S. Dollar is keeping Gold from breaking the $1,800 level, but it is affecting the silver price more. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,784 per ounce, unchanged from yesterday on average volume.

SILVER

Silver reached a low of $23.15 this morning before seeing fresh bargain buying of both future commodity contracts and physical investment coins and bars. At 11am PT today, Silver is down $0.14 per ounce, trading at $23.34 on normal volume.
