Today, we saw the nonfarm payrolls increased by only 22,000 for August, lower than the 75,000 forecast, while the unemployment rate rose to 4.3% according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This news pretty much confirmed the Federal Reserve will drop interest rates at the next meeting this month.

At 11am PT today, Gold is up $50 today, selling at $3593.

SILVER

After reaching a low of $40.35 per ounce yesterday, Silver found serious buyers today. Silver is seeing some resistance at the $41 per ounce level, and may trade above and below that level for a little time.

At 11am PT today, Silver is selling for $40.99, up $0.47.
