Gold Moves Back Above $2,600 On Strong Demand
GOLD
A weaker U.S. Dollar and the personal consumption expenditures price (PCE) index for November showing an increase of only 0.1% from the preceding month helped Gold rally this morning. Gold moved past the $2,600 level in Middle East trading then kept moving higher in London and the U.S.
A 11am PT today, Gold is up $34 per ounce, at $2,628 per ounce on excellent volume.
SILVER
Silver followed Gold higher, reaching a high of $29.75 before seeing some light weekend short-term selling.
At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.60 per ounce, at $29.62 trading on good volume.
