Gold Moves Higher As The U.S Dollar Index Falls
GOLD
Interest rates moved lower and the U.S. Dollar Index is again under 90, so Gold moved higher this morning. Gold hit a high of $1,910 and has spent most of the day trading between $1,901 and $1,910, as it builds a real nice base for the next leg higher. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,908, up $4 on good volume.
SILVER
Silver reached a low of $27.69 in early European trading, but moved back above $28 as it rounded in the U.S. markets. Staying above the key $28 level is very important at this point with the strength in the Gold price. At 11am PT today, Silver is trading at $28.15 per ounce, up $0.12 on nice volume.
