Gold Moves Higher On Trump Shooting

Everything is higher today: the Dow, the Dollar, Interest Rates, and Gold. Traders are pointing to the shooting of Trump as the catalyst for the increases. Gold reached a high of $2,437 before seeing light profit-taking.

At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $2,422, up $5 on average volume.

SILVER

Silver traded between $30.48 and $31.14 per ounce in overnight markets. Asian demand for popular Silver coins and bars is picking up. With the Gold price up higher, I would expect to see Silver firmly move above $31 this week.
