Gold Moving Closer To $2,200 Per Ounce Again

Gold reached a high of $2,197 this morning as investors await a key inflation indicator to be released on Friday: the March Personal Consumption Expenditure Price Index (PCE Index). This indicator could affect the Fed's decision to lower interest rates in June.

At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $2,190 per ounce, up $12 on strong volume.

SILVER

Silver reached a low of $24.33 this morning before seeing bargain buying. It will be surprising to see Silver prices under $25 when the Gold price moves above $2,200 per ounce.

At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.10 per ounce at $24.60 on trading volume.
