Gold Moving Closer To The Key $2,000 Level

Gold’s trading range and volume has been increasing, which is a sign of a strong move coming soon. Gold traded today between $1,962 and $1,988 per ounce, which trading volume on most of the world’s largest exchanges has been increasing. Gold finally broke out this afternoon above the $1,980 level. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,984 per ounce, up $7 on excellent volume.

SILVER

In the face of a strong Gold market, Silver is finding it difficult to break and stay above the key $23 per ounce level. Silver tested its $22.50 support level this morning and quickly rallied back. At 11am PT today, Silver is down $0.07 per ounce, trading at $22.93 on average volume.
