Gold Price Finds Support Before Holiday Weekend

The 10-year Treasury rate dropped to below 2.30% briefly this morning. Low interest rates and record high Central Bank Gold buying is providing support for the Gold price. As we go into a holiday weekend Gold is trading in a narrow $5 high/low range. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,285 per ounce, down $1 on light volume.

SILVER

Silver dropped to $14.42 per ounce in early trading, before finding buyers and moving back above $14.50 per ounce. At 11am PT today, Silver is down $0.08 per ounce, trading at $14.56 on light volume.
