Gold Reaches $4,681 On Heavy Demand

This morning in the overseas market, investors are fearing that the U.S. intervention in the U.S. bond market will lead to a weaker dollar, prompting heavy demand for Gold.
Gold reached a high of $4,681 during trading in London, a three-month high.
The U.S. Dollar reached a low this morning of 98.76, the lowest it’s been for the past 3-months.
Today’s announcement on new sanctions on Iran will have an effect on the Gold price.
At 11 am PT Today, gold is trading at $4,638 per ounce, up $18 from last Friday.
SILVER
Even with gold reaching new highs today, Silver wasn’t able to break back above $70 per ounce.
Silver reached a high of $69.78 this morning in Chinese trading, on heavy demand.
Then during early London trading, Silver made today’s low of $68.30 before rallying back and reaching a high of $70.04 per ounce briefly.
As the trading moved into the U.S., there was short-term profit-taking, driving the price below $69 per ounce.
At 11 am PT today, silver is trading at $68.59 per ounce, down $0.91 from last Friday.
