Gold Reaches A High Of $2,020 With Silver Following
GOLD
Gold is off and running today, reaching a high of $2,020 per ounce on two major factors. U.S. labor market showed signs of slowing, declining to 9.6 million in March and a sharp drop in U.S. banking stocks today. U.S. Treasury yields have also dropped on flight-to-quality buying. At 11am PT today, Gold is up $28 per ounce, trading at $2,013 on strong demand.
SILVER
Silver followed Gold higher reaching $25.56 per ounce before seeing light profit taking. At 11am PT today, Silver is trading at $25.30 per ounce, up $0.30 on excellent volume.
