Gold Reaches A New All-Time Record High Of $3,145.80/oz

Gold saw heavy buying in Asia and the Middle East last night, reaching its new all-time high of $3,145.80 per ounce. Then, in Europe, there was some profit taking, which took the price down to $3,098 before seeing bargain buying.

Gold is currently trading at $3,113, down $5 on the day.

SILVER

Silver reached a high of $34.33 this morning before the profit-taking hit the market. Silver reached a low of $33.41 before bouncing back.

At 11am PT today, Silver is trading at $33.65 per ounce, down $0.25 for the day on excellent volume.
