Gold Reaches High of $1720 After Early Morning Trading Dropped Prices to $1680
GOLD
Gold reached a low of $1,680 per ounce in early morning trading. However the Chinese Gold buyers, jumped in and started buying, driving the price back over $1,700. As the trading rounded in to Europe, Gold reached a high of $1,720 per ounce. The U.S. Dollar and 10-Year Treasuries held within their recent trading range. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,713 per ounce, up $10.50 on active volume.
SILVER
Silver traded today between $18.20 and $18.94 based on the weakness and strength of the Gold price. If Gold can move back over $1,720, I would believe Silver could move above $19 per ounce. At 11am PT today, the Silver price is unchanged at $18.80 per ounce on active trading.
