Gold Rises As Dollar Falls
GOLD
With the U.S. Dollar breaking below 104, Gold has started to build a base above the key $1,800 per ounce level. Over the past 24 hours during Asian, European and the U.S. trading Gold has actively traded between $1,817 and $1,835 per ounce. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,820, up $4 on good volume.
SILVER
Silver fell at a higher percentage than Gold over the past couple weeks, and it’s now showing a higher percentage increase as Gold moves higher. Silver reached a high of $21.84 in European trading and is holding well over the $21.50 level. At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.24 per ounce, trading at $21.74 on excellent volume.
