Gold, Silver, and the Equity markets opened higher this morning, then quickly sold off. Gold broke below the $1,600 level based on news the Russian Central Bank has temporarily stopped buying Gold. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,599 per ounce, down $45 on excellent volume.
SILVER
This morning, Silver is trading above below the key $14 level, as Gold sells off. Many of the world’s major mint have closed or have severely cut back production due to coronavirus concerns, so premiums remain high. At 11am PT today, Silver is down $0.03 per ounce, trading at $14.05 on good volume.
