Gold & Silver Higher On Sizeable Bargain Buying

GOLD

Gold moved higher during trading in all 3 overseas markets. Gold showed excellent support at $4,150 and some resistance at $4,200. Trading volume was strong in the face of a weekend and a stronger U.S. Dollar. I like the fact that Gold is holding firm in the face of many negative economic and geopolitical indicators.

At 11am PT today, Gold is up $82 per ounce at $4,197 on excellent volume.

SILVER

Silver moved back above $60 per ounce during early Chinese trading and kept getting stronger all night and this morning. Silver reached a high of $61.30 in the U.S. before seeing some weekend short-term profit-taking.

At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.93 per ounce, at $60.85 on excellent volume.
