Gold & Silver Hitting New All-Time High Prices
GOLD
Gold reached a new all-time high this morning of $4,219 per ounce. Demand remains steady around the globe, with excellent fresh buying coming in London this morning.
Two major issues are helping drive the gold market higher. The latest trade standoff between the U.S. and China and Chairman Powell’s comments on the weakness in U.S. labor indicate lower interest rates later this month.
At 11 am PT today, gold is up $50 per ounce, at $4,195 on excellent trading volume.
SILVER
Silver also reached a high all-time high this morning of $53.13 per ounce.
Again, much of the buying strength came during London trading.
The silver short-squeeze continues, and demand remains strong.
At 11 am PT today, silver is up $1.00 per ounce, at $52.70 to continued strong demand.
