Gold & Silver Moving Above Resistance Levels

GOLD

Strong demand for Gold is helping the price move higher this morning, as Gold moved over $4,100 per ounce during Chinese trading last night. Gold reached a high last night of $4,167 per ounce, and trading volume increased in many of the overseas markets.

At 11am PT today, Gold is up $77.50 per ounce, trading at $4,143 on excellent volume.

SILVER

After reaching a low of $54.65 last week, Silver hit a high this morning of $61.03 during early trading in the U.S. As I have said a few times, $60 is a key support level for Silver. Seeing Silver stay above $60 per ounce for the balance of this week would be very healthy for both the short-term and long-term price of Silver.

At 11am PT today, Silver is trading at $60.07 per ounce, up $1.30 for the day.
