Gold & Silver Test Key Support Levels
GOLD
Gold traded this morning in overseas trading between $4,582 and $4,674 before trading in the U.S.
Gold reached the low this morning after a report showing that inflation moved sharply higher in the second quarter.
The preliminary GDP Price Index rose 6.4% in Q2, up from the initial reading of 6.2%.
Economists were expecting an unchanged reading.
At 11 am PT today, Gold is trading at $4,598 per ounce, down $53 for the day.
SILVER
Silver broke before the key $68 per ounce support level briefly during trading in London.
Silver reached a low of $67.41. Silver needs to move back above the $68 level to stay bullish.
At 11 am PT today, Silver is trading at $67.98, down $1.11 on heavy volume.
