Gold & Silver Trade In Tight Range

GOLD

A slight increase overnight during Hong Kong trading. When the New York markets started picking up we saw Gold increase about $6 and then it settled back from there. It’s still relatively quiet, given we're talking about a 0.5% trading range. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1286 up by $4.50 on a little above average trading volume.

SILVER

Some short sellers came into Silver this morning taking it down to the $14.60’s, but Silver quickly recovered most of the losses. It’s still pretty quiet here as we wait for Silver to make it back over $15. At 11am PT today, Silver is trading at $14.84 down by $0.06 on normal volume.
