Gold Sticks To Tight Trading While Building A Base

Gold continues to stay in a tight trading range today between $1,747 and $1,759 per ounce, as it builds an important base. Both the U.S. Dollar and interest rates also traded in a narrow range, not giving any direction to the precious metal markets. At 11am PT Today, Gold is trading at $1750 per ounce, up $7 on average volume.

SILVER

Silver showed much price support and demand this morning, as it quickly moved above the key $21 support/resistance level. Silver reached a high of $21.54 before seeing some light selling. At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.26 per ounce, trading at $21.26 on normal volume.
