Gold Still Trying To Hit That $2,000 Mark With Silver Trailing Behind

Global banking problems appear to have been temporarily handled, and Gold’s appeal as a hedge against uncertainty has been scaled down. Gold has traded today between $1,958 and $1,972 per ounce, as it continues to build a firm base for the next attempt to break $2,000. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,968, down $3 on average volume.

SILVER

Silver is showing a little more price support then Gold, trading between $23.08 and $23.49 today. Demand for many popular Silver investment coins continue to grow and premiums have moved higher. At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.08, trading at $23.39 on strong volume.
