Gold Trading Above $1,500 Support Level

GOLD

Gold reached a high of $1,518 this morning when the equity markets initially dropped. Gold has settled back to trading above the key $1,500 level, between $1,506 and $1,512 per ounce. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,510, up $5 on good volume.

SILVER

Today, Silver is trading in a tight 20 cent high/low range, consolidating its recent short-term rally. Silver reached a high of $17.75 before seeing some light profit taking. At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.03, trading at $17.65 on average volume.
