Gold traded today in a tight range from $1,645 to $1,658 as it looking to build support above the $1,650 support level. With possible U.S. interest rate increases scheduled for later this year, holding above $1,650 would be encouraging. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,652 per ounce, down $2 on average volume.

SILVER

Silver found strong resistance this morning after hitting the key $19 per ounce level. Silver traded between $18.54 and $19 per ounce today as the markets look to build support. At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.05 per ounce, trading at $18.75 on normal volume.
