House Of Representatives Keep Up Talks With Chairman Powell

GOLD

This morning Gold rallied off the $1,810 low it reached last night in Asian/European trading. The U.S. House of Representative Finance committee continues to speak with Fed Chairman Powell this morning and he has confirmed his statements given yesterday to the Senate. Gold saw some resistance when February’s private payroll numbers were released, jumping 242,00 jobs, well over estimates. On Friday we will get the U.S. Unemployment numbers from February, this is a key economic indicator and will affect precious metal prices. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,814 per ounce, down $1 on excellent volume.

SILVER

Silver reached a low of $19.91 per ounce in early European trading, then bounced back above $20 as the U.S. market saw strong buying. At 11am PT today, Silver is down $0.04 per ounce, at $20.06 on heavy volume.
