JP Morgan's Chief Strategist Announces Pandemic Is Nearing the End

Gold was trading under $1,780 per ounce, when a statement from Marko Kolanovic, JP Morgan’s Chief Global Market Strategist was released. Mr. Kolanovice stated “Our view is that 2022 will be the year of full global recovery, and end of the pandemic, and a return to normal economic and market conditions we had prior to the COVID-19 outbreak”. This statement helped Gold rally $6 per ounce. At 11am PT Today, gold is up $1 per ounce, trading at $1,788 on normal volume.

SILVER

Silver traded between $22.28 and $22.54 per ounce today on active volume. After Mr. Kolanovic’s statement, Silver moved to the highs of the day. At 11am PT today, Silver is trading at $22.54 per ounce, down $0.10 on average volume.
