GOLD
This morning Gold is holding its recent gains after the U.S. durable goods orders sank 14.4% for March, much more than the expected 11.9% drop. There was some fresh buying in Asia this morning at the opening of trading, taking the spot price up to $1,760 before seeing some light weekend profit-taking. At 11am PT Today, Gold is trading at $1,735 per ounce, down $1 on average volume.
SILVER
Silver reaching a high of $15.55 this morning in Asian markets. With some of the major mints coming on line, premiums of popular bullion items are starting to drop. At 11am PT today, Silver is up $0.07 per ounce, trading at $15.37 on normal volume.
