Markets Drop As Gold And Crude Oil Rise Above

GOLD

The yellow metals prices were slightly lower rounding out the day yesterday and into the overnight trading, but the gains have for the most part returned in the U.S. trading hours today. We’re seeing the markets down a little bit today as Crude oil and Gold are up. Tomorrow we may see some more activity at the European Central Bank is expected to lay out it’s plans for a tighter monetary policy. We’ll see how that goes later this evening. At 11am Gold is $1858.46 up by $5.14 on normal volume.

SILVER

We saw Silver drop again last night under $22 and going into U.S. trading the metal has come above that level on light trading. It seems to be that Silver is waiting to make it’s next move as it’s consistently testing the $22 mark over the last couple of weeks. At 11am Silver is $22.18 down by $0.09 on light trading volume.
