Markets Quiet Down Leading Up To Holiday Weekend
GOLD
Going into the holiday weekend markets are fairly calm today. We see Gold was trading in about a $13 range and activity is fairly quiet. We also saw a slight drop in U.S. Treasury yields. At 11am Gold is $1857.67 up by $4.30 on lighter than average volume.
SILVER
We saw Silver hold above the $22 level last night and take a slight run into the mid $22’s in London trading. It’s coming down slightly in US trading hours and action is much more peaceful from what we can see in those trading pits. At 11am Silver is $22.19 up by $0.15 on small volume.
