Metal Markets Building Excellent Bases

GOLD

Gold traded today between $1,750 and $1,760 per ounce, as it continues to build an excellent base for the next leg higher. The U.S. Dollar and interest rates were mostly unchanged, which doesn’t give any direction to the precious metal markets. At 11am PT today, Gold is trading at $1,751 per ounce, down $10 on average volume.

SILVER

Silver has traded above and below the key $21 per ounce support level. Silver reached a high of $21.34 and a low of $20.86, which found bargain buying. At 11am PT today, Silver is trading at $20.91 per ounce, down $0.08 on normal volume.
