Pre-Holiday selling has hit most of the financial markets, including precious metals today. Gold has traded today between $1,785 and $1,821 in the European and U.S. precious metal markets. At 11am PT, Gold is trading at $1,788, down $29 on light volume.

SILVER

Silver brought down below the key $24 level and kept on going, reaching a low of $23.36 before seeing bargain buying. Silver should move back above that important $24 level next week, after the holiday. At 11am PT today, Silver is down $0.60 per ounce, trading at $23.45 on light volume.
