Precious Metal Prices Rally Back From Overnight Drops

GOLD

Gold reached a low of $1,485 this morning in Asian trading before rallying back to the important $1,500 area. In the U.S. Gold has traded between $1,490 and $1,499 for most of the trading session. At 11am PT today, Gold is down $10 per ounce, trading at $1,494 on average volume.

SILVER

Silver reached a low of $17.70 per ounce in oversee markets before finding fresh buying. Strong demand took the price of Silver back over the $18 level before opening in the U.S. markets. At 11am PT today, Silver is trading at $18.14 per ounce, up $0.01 on active volume.
